Vivo IQOO Neo Unboxing & Initial Review - Xiaomi CC9 Defeated!

Vivo have a new kid on the block known as the IQOO Neo and it directly rivals the Xiaomi Mi CC9 and Pocophone!

At just $260, the Vivo IQOO Neo is a dummed down version of the original IQOO. Well, in some cases. The biggest difference is that the Neo adopts the last generation snapdragon 845 chip instead of the 855 chip, however the device has a bigger battery, 500mAh bigger actually, putting it at 4500mAh which is impressive! That being said, don't expect battery to be much better since the original IQOO has a 4000mAh battery on a 7nm chip whereas the Neo is rocking an older 10nm chip which is known to consume more battery. The charging has dropped down to 22.5w but that's still pretty decent if you look at the competition. There is still a headphone jack, and the screen is just .03 inches smaller at 6.38 inches which is still AMOLED. It practically has the same cameras accros the board, only difference is that the ultrawide sensor is 8MP instead of 13MP, not a big deal. What is a big deal is the price, it starts (6GB+64GB) at just 1,798RMB which is roughly 18,000 rupees, and 260 dollars. Really not bad if you are one for gaming!

I unbox the device with impressions on the design, software, build quality, in-display fingerprint sensor, facial recognition, and cameras with some sample pics of my new friend, Groot!

Stay tuned for a speed tests, charging and drain test, gaming test, and camera test.
